Economics

A major in Economics requires 34 credit hours in the discipline and must include the following: IHSS 1200 Principles of Economics or ECON 1200, ECON 2010 Intermediate Microeconomic Theory, ECON 2020 Intermediate Macroeconomics Theory, ECON 4570  Econometrics, and ECON 4900 Seminar in Economics (minimum two units). Courses in Mathematics and Statistics are also required as prerequisites.

Although specific courses will vary, the template below illustrates a typical bachelor of science curriculum within the Department of Economics. This curriculum requires a minimum of 124 credit hours.
