Cognition Minor

Program Requirements

This minor is designed to focus on those aspects of psychology relevant to the field of cognitive science. To complete this minor, students must choose a minimum of four courses as described:

PSYC 1200 General Psychology is a prerequisite.

PSYC 4370 Cognitive Psychology is required.

The remaining two courses should be chosen from the following:

• PSYC 2120 - Introduction to Cognitive Science Credit Hours: 4
• PSYC 4410 - Sensation and Perception Credit Hours: 4
• PSYC 4510 - Cognitive Modeling Credit Hours: 4
• PSYC 4620 - Cognitive Engineering Credit Hours: 4
