ERTH 4180 - Environmental Geology An overview of near-surface geological systems and human interaction with them, followed by a topical discussion of key geo-societal issues including, but not limited to, earthquake hazards, landslides, water pollution, waste disposal, and health risks posed by radon and asbestos.
When Offered: Spring term annually. Includes laboratory and one Saturday field trip.
