WRIT 4170 - Writing for Promotion and Marketing This course engages students in persuasive and information writing designed to promote skills, products, services, or concepts. Writers craft such texts and materials as application essays, news releases, advertising copy, newsletters, oral presentations, marketing plans, and Web sites and other e-materials. Coursework will emphasize the fundamentals of good writing based on audience and context analysis and on a basic understanding of branding and marketing communication options. This is a communication-intensive course.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: WRIT 1110 or WRIT 2110 or COMM 2520 or permission of instructor.
When Offered: Spring term annually.
